Our client is currently seeking an Applications Scientist, this is the perfect position for a hands-on professional who has excellent scientific depth and flexibility. Applicants should have a minimum of a BSc in an appropriate life sciences discipline and a knowledge of cell-based assays. A willingness to travel is essential for this role. Previous technical or applications support experience is desirable but not essential.

The Role:
You will drive forward the sales of our range of high content screening instruments by acting as a key interface between the sales team, and end-users to provide expert level product support functions in the field, at shows and at workshops.
In this expert capacity, you will provide application and technical support during the sales process including demonstrating the instruments to potential customers at their research sites principally within Europe, North America and the Far East. You will also be required to present scientific research at client meetings and scientific conferences. This position will also require providing on-site instrument training to new and existing customers.
