» Design Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a Design Engineer. This position involves assisting in providing mechanical design and production support and being part of the development team.

MAIN DUTIES:
*The development of new instrument designs to a production stage.
*To test designs "hands on".
*To assist in the specification, design and development of mechanical parts.
*Preparation of clear and traceable design documentation, from specification to *validation and to maintain the drawings and other design information
*Providing data for technical manuals.
*To assist with any production testing issues related with mechanical aspects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
*To good degree level in mechanical engineering or relevant subject.
*Post qualification industrial experience is necessary

EXPERIENCE:
*Instrumentation
*Precision optical assemblies
*Enclosures
*Approvals
*Ability to work with minimum supervision is an advantage
