» Systems Integration Scientist

Our client is seeking a multidisciplinary scientist able to combine new sequencing protocols with the new generation of their genome analyser instrument platform.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

* setting up and running of sequencing machines that are under development
* analysis of data to establish performance levels
* troubleshooting and feeding back of information on performance of sequencing chemistries and instrumentation
* the development and writing of standard operation procedures

Education and experience:

* A PhD in life science or engineering is required
* A track record in instrumentation development in a life science field is highly desirable.
